If you’re not aware, today, the 29th of August is The International Day Against Nuclear Tests. Aotearoa New Zealand has long had an anti-nuclear weapons stance, which unfortunately the Prime Minister in the 1980s declared was “not for export”, possibly to appease the American administration at that time. Just imagine what the world would be like if all nations banned all forms of nuclear weaponry in the manner NZ has, and also scrapped their air and maritime strike capabilities as we did at the beginning of this century. A pipe dream perhaps, but one worth striving for.

I think it’s worth striving for instead of just dreaming about. As far as I’m aware, dreams are about as effective as prayer in bringing about change. Unless either prayer or dreams motivates you into action, nothing will change.
