Some people have a really warped sense of reality. I just stumbled upon a WordPress blog under the “New Zealand” tag claiming that the Christchurch terrorist attack is a hoax. To make it even more disgusting he’s included an animated GIF image of several seconds of shooting inside the Mosque, which is supposed to prove his claim. Unlike a video it plays the moment the article is opened – the image is near the top of the page and can’t be avoided. I’ve reported it to WordPress. My hope is that WordPress take down not only the article, but also the account.
Update (19:03 NZDT): I’ve just realised that you don’t need to open the article. The image plays in a search preview list. Everyone including kids can see the animation. As of this moment, it’s been up 12 hours.
Update (31/03/19 06:14 NZDT): The site has finally been taken down. Yay!

Barry, be careful not to be suckered into the darkness which can be the world wide web. Though your intentions may be pure, that is no protection from the sickness prevailing in some people’s minds and the platform modern means of media and communication have given them.

A link would be like waving a rag to a bull, and I have no intention of offering an invitation for a discussion. I’m only too well aware that these people are incapable of doing that.
What annoys me is that you can’t avoid them, even if you try. I simply have a “new-zealand” as one of around 15 tags set up in the WordPress reader. I simply clicked on that tag, and there it was. The animated image in full view. So I will continue to get pissed at them whenever they intrude. Let them stay on 4chan or 8chan or whatever, and keep out of my hair.

Alex Jones and others of his pathetic ilk in the US, are extremely despicable human beings, and Jones must have a cousin over there. The worse thing about this type of filth is that a few sick and racist people will believe it and hope others do too. We live in a very sick world.
